Mr. Timothy Landry
High School Marketing Teacher & DECA Chapter Advisor
Hanna’s impact to the RHAM High School Business program, during both her junior and senior years, helped strengthen the chapters overall success. Her balanced contributions connected to each element of the program including the RHAM school store, DECA student organization, the business classroom, and the National Business Honor Society.
She is an impressive young professional who is passionate about business, marketing and fashion. Positive, confident, poised, outgoing, organized, a strong networker, embraces team dynamics, and strong leadership are among the many strong attributes that Hanna possesses.
Hanna always demonstrated an exemplary work ethic with strong time management skills. Most memorable was her commitment to her DECA state level project (Buying and Merchandising Promotional Plan) at the Connecticut competition This effort, in working in collaboration with her partner, resulting in a 2nd place finish which qualified her for nationals. As a chapter officer, she proved her leadership capacity by planning, organizing and implementing the annual school/community wide DECA food and clothing drive to support local charities.
As a long time high school business teacher, I have seen few students with the passion, intuitiveness and overall commitment to professional development that Hanna possesses. I say without hesitation that she was one of the top students I have ever had. I highly recommend her for all professional opportunities she chooses to pursue.
